Tour Summary:
Half of the world's remaining population of gorillas make their homes in Bwindi Forest, formerly known as the Impenetrable Forest. Magnificent Murchison Falls and Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world, are also found in Uganda.


Day 1: Bwindi

Drive southwest of Kampala across the equator to Mbarara for lunch.

Continue through spectacular sceneries of Kabala, to Buhoma in Bwindi National Park.

Proceed to your tented camp for the night (480 km, 7 hrs).

Day 2: Bwindi
 
Early morning tracking with the guides in search of mountain gorillas.

Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Kabale

Early morning gorilla tracking. Evening drive to Kabale for overnight (120 km, 3 hrs).

Day 4: Kampala
 
After breakfast, return to Kampala, via Mbarara for lunch (415 km, 5 hrs).
